My career in education began in 2010 when I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Baker College of Muskegon with a Major in Language Arts. It was a tough time to go into education, but after 5 long term subbing positions, I found my place at Beechnau Elementary and completed my Early Childhood Special Education Endorsement. I was blessed to teach Early Childhood Special Education for 4 years followed by an amazing 6 years of teaching kindergarten. In 2022, I was presented with the opportunity to be the Dean of Students at Beechnau Elementary and truly enjoyed supporting the staff and encouraging all of the students. I completed the Path to Leadership program through the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP) to receive my K-12 Administrator Certificate. In 2023, I was honored to accept the role as Principal at Beechnau Elementary.
I am honored and excited to continue my leadership journey with the collaborative staff, supportive families, and amazing students in Ravenna.
