Muskegon County was chosen by MDE as the subject of all onsite English Learner program reviews for the 24/25 school year. Please review the information below regarding important dates coming up.  

Background:   
MDE will be facilitating a series of three sessions to prepare district teams on essential updates and decisions regarding the 24/25 county-wide English Learner Onsite reviews that will impact your school. Attendance is crucial, as we will be covering topics that require the input and agreement of all administrators.

It is recommended that district's attend as teams. Team members in attendance should include: 

- ESL teacher(s)
- Curriculum Director and/ or Principal/ Dean 
- Superintendent ( First two hours of first date required only)
- State and Federal Programs personnel
